David is a Kiwi from Nelson and Tammy is from the USA. They met at the Pacific Orientation Course in Papua New Guinea in 1985 and spent the next 25 years studying the language and culture of the Ambai people of Indonesia and translating the Ambai New Testament, as well as facilitating various sustainable development projects. The Ambai New Testament was dedicated in May of 2010.
