Murray & Ruth Salisbury

Ruth comes from Dunedin where she gained a BA in History at the University of Otago. Murray comes from Rotorua and has an MA in Hebrew from Otago, where they met. Following membership with WBT, they lived in Israel, where Murray taught Hebrew poetry and other courses at the university. Since 1991, he has led over 140 translation workshops and courses in various corners of the world, passing on skills to translators and pastors. They now live in England where they helped refugees complete a new translation of the whole Bible into their national language. Murray continues to check the accuracy of new translations over the Internet as a Translation Consultant for several other projects. Ruth is busy with pastoral care and praying alongside those in need.
