Leslie nee Foster comes from Baltimore, USA. After working several years in the chemical industry, she joined Wycliffe USA and completed an MA in Linguistics before going to her first field assignment in Indonesia in 1988. Leslie arrived in New Zealand in 1999 to assist in the training department.
David joined Wycliffe NZ in 2000 and served with SIL South Asia for 18 years, managing the Linguistics and Translation libraries, as well as doing back translations for a number of language projects.
David and Leslie were married in 2022, and David became a Wycliffe NZ member. They both work in Member Care.
