Ross & Jo Millar

Ross earned a BSc while Jo earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences, both at Waikato University. Ross completed an MTh at Laidlaw College in 2017. Ross's MTh thesis is on the Lord's Prayer as signed by the NZ Deaf Community. He is now working on a PhD in computer science. His topic is "How to Write and Read Sign Languages". He is trying to develop a writing system that can be used with any of the world's 160 sign languages. Ross knows a reasonable amount of New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) and supports the Deaf people working on the NZSL Bible Project.
